Denver Police are looking for two suspects, considered armed and dangerous, who broke into a home in Northeast Denver attempting a robbery on Wednesday night.

One of the suspects held a knife on victim at the home near East 26th Avenue and Albion Street while the second suspect searched for valuables. The burglars fled on foot without taking anything just before police arrived.

The first suspect is described as a black man in his late 20s, about 6 feet 2 inches tall, with short natural black hair, and sideburns to mid-ear. He is described as having a large build, with broad shoulders and a thick neck, and with a slight gap or scar in his right eyebrow.

There is no description available of the second suspect.

Police said there have been several burglaries in the same area that occur late at night or early in the morning where suspects enter through unlocked windows and doors.

Denver Police remind the public to always keep windows and doors shut, and to report any suspicious activity that may be occurring in their neighborhoods.

If you have any information about this robbery or the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).
