HAGATNA, Guam — A magnitude-7.2 earthquake struck about 230 miles off the southern coast of Guam this morning, but many residents didn’t even notice. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center in Hawaii said there was no widespread tsunami generated from the shallow quake.
