The Four Seasons Hotel Denver will host a job fair next week with the aim of filling 260 positions that will be available at the soon-to-open hotel.

The hiring event will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wed nesday at the Four Seasons location at 1111 14th St., between Arapahoe and Lawrence streets.

The company said early interest has been strong, and a high number of applicants are expected to show up.

Available positions include concierges, accountants, engineers, housekeepers, floor supervisors, restaurant managers, cooks, spa therapists and fitness, banquet, front-desk and laundry valets.

Job experience is not imperative, general manager Thierry Kennel said. Applicants, however, should be people-oriented with a positive outlook and a desire to grow within the company, he said.

Employees will start training three weeks before opening day in late October.

Over the past few months, an “excessive” number of job-seekers have expressed interest, and 2,000 to 3,000 are anticipated to attend the fair, Kennel said.

“As business grows over time, we will grow our team” to 300 employees, he said.
