FORT CARSON, Colo.—The Defense Department says a soldier from Fort Carson has been killed by an improvised bomb in Afghanistan.
The military says 20-year-old Spc. Pedro A. Millet Meletiche of Elizabeth, N.J., died Sunday in the Arghandab River Valley.
He was assigned to the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 4th Infantry Division.
