GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—A Grand Junction woman will face trial on charges of stabbing a man to death and trying to hire someone to kill witnesses.

The Grand Junction Sentinel reports Amy Adamson faces a Nov. 1 trial in the stabbing death of 20-year-old Ramon Sandoval.

Sandoval was killed in January. Prosecutors allege Adamson thought Sandoval was flirting with her girlfriend.

Adamson also is charged with trying to hire a hit man to kill two witnesses to the stabbing.

She denies any wrongdoing.
