LONE TREE, Colo.—Need to brush up on the U.S. Constitution? Republican Rep. Mike Coffman has free copies he’s handing out Friday.
Coffman is marking Constitution Day by handing out free copies of the document from his office in Lone Tree. Coffman says he’s handing out copies in part because he believes the federal government has exceeded its constitutional parameters.
Constitution Day marks the anniversary of the signing of the document on Sept. 17, 1789, by 39 delegates from 12 states at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.
