BATTLEMENT MESA, Colo.—Battlement Mesa residents are awaiting a report on the health effects of oil and gas drilling.
Environmental and health officials planned to release a draft Monday of the study on the proposal by Antero Resources to drill up to 200 wells near Parachute.
Residents in the community of about 5,000 requested the study. A public meeting to review the study is planned for Oct. 4 in Garfield County.
