DENVER—Federal prosecutors say Colorado authorities have arrested 11 suspected gang members as part of an investigation that has lasted a year and a half.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office said the suspects were due in court Tuesday to be advised of federal drug and gun charges. The arrests happened Monday.

Federal prosecutors say the arrests are part of a long-term investigation targeting gangs. Authorities arrested nine people in November and another 11 in June.

Authorities that have participated in the investigations include the police departments in Denver, Aurora and Lakewood. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have also helped.
