Charges have been filed in Larimer County against three people accused of running a burglary and identity theft ring.

Felony criminal charges have been filed against Maggie Mae Henderson, 28, of Loveland; Jessica Hornback, 32, of Fort Collins; and Joseph Lee Thyfault, 31, a Fort Collins Police Department media release said.

In May 2009, Fort Collins and Loveland police began a joint burglary investigation in which victims’ identities were stolen.

The trio allegedly stole personal information from lockers at local health clubs in northern Colorado and used stolen credit cards, checks or personal information to make purchases, forge documents, and withdraw cash from banks, police said.

Investigators believe the suspects carried out the crimes through June of 2009.

Henderson has been charged with four counts of identity theft and one count of theft, and Hornback has been charged with 19 counts of identity theft. Thyfault has been charged with four counts of identity theft, two counts of burglary, one count of possession of burglary tools and one count of possession of drugs.

All three are being held by the Colorado Department of Corrections on other charges, police said.
