COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A judge has decided there’s enough evidence to try a 19-year-old man in the fatal shooting a tire store employee in Monument.
Logan McClelland of Como is accused of shooting 50-year-old Bradley Blehm Aug. 9 during a confrontation in the parking lot of Big O Tire. He’s charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bond.
The Gazette reports that an El Paso County detective testified during the preliminary hearing Friday that Blehm had been drinking and was told to leave the day of the shooting. Investigators testified that Blehm used profanity while talking to McClelland’s father, who was in his truck outside the store.
The younger McClelland is accused of then shooting Blehm several times.
