First Tupac Shakur pulled it off in 1995. Now now Lil Wayne has managed to do the same: scoring a No. 1 album while in prison.

Wayne’s “I Am Not a Human Being” tops the chart with one-week sales of 125,000, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The rapper is serving a yearlong sentence at Rikers Island on a gun charge.

“Human Being” hit No. 2 on the album chart after its online release last month. The launch of its CD pushed the album to No. 1.

Katy Perry is really getting into Indian tradition as she approaches her wedding to Russell Brand on Saturday. She’s been spotted wearing an Indian bridal nose ring.

The ring — also known as a nath — is worn by brides throughout the wedding day, with the groom removing it on the wedding night.

Britain’s Daily Mail reports Perry (who turns 26 Monday) got it in London, which could explain why husband-to-be Brand tossed a coat over her head in the airport in Mumbai Wednesday to shield her from photographers.

The two are getting married at a luxury resort outside the Ranthambhore tiger sanctuary in the Indian state of Rajasthan, a local tour operator said.

The British comedian and American pop star arrived Wednesday at Mumbai airport.

Their six-day celebration begins Saturday with a Hindu wedding ceremony conducted by a local priest at the Sher Bagh resort, said Rajasthan Tours manager Mohan Singh, whose company is one of several involved in organizing the event.

Perry’s “nerves are frayed,” a source told Us Weekly. “But it doesn’t have to do with Russell — it’s about her fears of wedding mishaps. Katy thinks they will be together forever.”

The two met in 2008 when she shot a cameo for his comedy “Get Him to the Greek.”

They stepped as a couple in September 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Us broke the news that they got engaged last December when he popped the question while they were vacationing in India.

Ever since, Perry told MTV News Brand has become “a total bridezilla. He’s like a freak, man. You should see — he’s always, like, buying bride magazines. Every time we go out for breakfast he’s like, ‘Can we just stop and get a bride magazine?'”

Perry told Us she was less obsessive. Asked about saying “I do!” she said, “We just want it to mean something. It doesn’t matter if it’s just me and him or if it’s a big, fat ordeal.”

Rihanna is now under Jay-Z‘s umbrella.

The Grammy-winning pop singer has parted ways with manager Marc Jordan and is now being managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management.

Rihanna told The Associated Press in a statement this week that she’s “so excited to take this next step in my career.”

The 22-year-old is also launching a new company called Rihanna Entertainment. She says it will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance fashion and book ventures.” Jay-Z signed Rihanna to Def Jam in 2005. The two won a Grammy in 2008 for the hit song “Umbrella.” Earlier this year, the pair picked up two Grammys for the rap song “Run This Town,” which also featured Kanye West.

She’s released four albums and plans to release her fifth CD, “Loud,” on Nov. 16.

Porn queen Jenna Jameson is in talks to star in the hit Broadway rock musical, “Rock of Ages,” according to the New York Post.

The X-rated icon is negotiating to take the role of Venus strip club owner Justice — whose big, crowd-pleasing number is appropriately Journey’s “Any Way You Want It.”

Jameson told the Post’s Page Six, “I am in talks with the ‘Rock of Ages’ producers, and I’m praying I get the role. Broadway has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. I am really excited.

“I’m meeting with the producers , and I just hope I have enough talent to carry the role. We are talking about a run that would be anything from a month to three months, and it could start very soon.”

Jenna Jameson She added, “I think I’m perfect for the role, and I am really looking forward to becoming a New Yorker.”

A show source told us, “The producers were surprised, but Jenna has a good voice. And while she’s famous for her X-rated movies, she can act. This may be a shock to traditional Broadway fans, but the show is always trying to push the boundaries.”

The Tony-nominated musical features music from Journey, Whitesnake, Styx and Bon Jovi.
