Premeet ritual: One is I never shower the day before the meet; the other is I have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch the day of the race.

Time management tip: Just do not freak out about it. Take it one step at a time.

Planned career: Considering chemical engineering or becoming a doctor; looking at MIT.

What high school sports mean to me: I love running. I’m not necessarily fond of the races. I just think they’re part of cross country, but I love the workouts. I think high school sports just help you have a release and relax, and help you think more clearly about stuff. They also help you find your motivation through sports. They will definitely help me in life with motivation and give me determination.
