GREELEY, Colo.—Republican Bob Boswell has conceded the state House District 50 race to incumbent Democrat Jim Riesberg nearly two weeks after the election.

Riesberg leads Boswell by about 300 votes, although a final vote tally hasn’t been completed.

Boswell told the Greeley Tribune Saturday that it didn’t appear that he would win and that good sportsmanship dictated he concede.

The results of this month’s elections switched control of the state House to Republicans, who would now hold a 33-32 majority despite Boswell’s loss in the district that encompasses Greeley.
