A Westminster woman with Alzheimer’s disease who has been missing since early Sunday is believed to be in the area of 23rd Avenue and Curtis Street in Denver, Westminster police said.
Westminster police investigator Trevor Materasso said Denver Human Services reported that the woman matching the description of Linda Nevermissashot, 60, was spotted near the Samaritan House at 23rd Avenue and Curtis Street as early as this morning.
Materasso said it is believed that Nevermissashot was given vouchers to stay in area hotels in the past two nights, which would have kept her out of the cold.
Westminster police are working with the Denver Police Department and Rampart Search and Rescue, as well as Nevermissashot’s family, searching the area for the woman.
Nevermissashot hasn’t been seen since about 2 a.m. Sunday when her daughter went to work. At 9 a.m. Sunday, when her daughter returned, Nevermissashot was gone and the door of the home — where she lived with her daughter — was open.
People with information about Nevermissashot are asked to call 303-658-4360.
