BYU’s Stephanie Snow and Utah’s Morgan Odale earned top honors Tuesday when the 2010 Mountain West All-Conference volleyball selections were announced.

Snow, a senior middle blocker from Tempe, Ariz., earned the MWC’s inaugural Newcomer of the Year award after leading the conference in hitting percentage (.384) in league play.

Overall, the transfer from the University of Arizona ranked fourth in hitting percentage (.352).

Odale, an outside hitter from Eagle, Idaho, earned MWC Freshman of the Year after completing the season ranked sixth in kills per set (3.25) and fifth in points per set (3.88).

Colorado State senior Danielle Minch was named Player of the Year for the second year in a row. Jeff Nelson of New Mexico was selected Coach of the Year.
