Denver’s Federal Reserve branch downtown soon will be home to the Money Museum and conference center.
Slated to open in January, the 7,000-square-foot facility will offer visitors a look at the nation’s central bank in action. Interactive exhibits will allow visitors to explore the banking system and how monetary policy provides for a stable economy.
Highlights of the museum will include historical currency, detecting counterfeit notes and seeing $30 million up close.
The Money Museum will be open to the public from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays. A photo ID is required for visitors 18 and older.
