Even if the Broncos wanted to forget the season-crushing 59-14 loss to the Raiders in Week 7, interim head coach Eric Studesville said Wednesday he won’t let them.
“We will definitely be addressing that,” Studesville said.
The Raiders rushed for 328 yards against the Broncos defense in that game, which is a season-worst for the Broncos defense. Darren McFadden finished with 165 yards rushing on 16 carries, a total that included a 57-yard touchdown run.
The Broncos are also coming off a loss in Arizona when the Cardinals finished with 221 yards rushing, including 113 in the fourth quarter alone.
“I hope there’s a tremendous pride factor in that,” Studesville said of the October loss to the Raiders. “The gentlemen that played in that game get another chance. … I think our room is full of prideful individuals.”
