Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in his west Denver home.
Officers were called about 6:45 p.m. Monday to a home in the 5100 block of West Gill Place on a “suspicious death,” according to a Denver Police Department news release.
Investigators believe the victim, identified Tuesday as 41-year-old Caesar Barela, was involved in a “physical altercation” with an “unknown individual.”
