The investigation into the theft of the cremated remains of an El Paso County woman yielded arrest warrants today against two more people who investigators think are part of a burglary ring.

An urn, containing the ashes, was taken from a home in Black Forest on Jan. 9.

Authorities are looking for Nicole Y. Mobley, 20, and Sergio Rivera, 31.

Authorities said Mobley and Rivera are accused of being the fourth and fifth the members of the burglary ring, following the arrest of 23-year-old Jeremy Farr on Jan. 19. Farr’s brother, Scott Farr, 29, and Damon Brimer, 34, were subsequently arrested.

The Sheriff’s Department is still looking for the square red mahogany urn that holds the remains of Terry Herrle, who passed away at the age of 69 in January 2009.

The Sheriff’s Department said earlier this week that the burglars tried to give the urn and remains back Saturday, leaving it and an apology note in a duffel bag in the parking lot of Trinity Church of the Nazarene in northeast Colorado Springs.

Then apparently someone took the urn and left the bag and note.

Rivera is the last person known to have had the urn, so in addition to burglary and related charges, he faces a charge of abuse of a corpse, as well.

The investigation, so far, has resulted in the recovery of thousands of dollars in guns, jewelry, coins, electronics, power tools, stamp collections and credit cards, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department.A neighbor whose home was burglarized and is related to the Farrs has put up a $1,500 reward for the return of the urn holding the remains of Terry Herrle.

Anyone with information can call the Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555 or Crime Stoppers at 719-634-7867.
