A trash truck collided with a car in an Aurora intersection this morning, sending one person to the hospital.
At 9:12 a.m., a 2003 Honda Accord driving northbound on Gun Club Road was struck by a Waste Management trash truck heading eastbound on Hampden Avenue, according to Colorado State Patrol spokesman Sgt. John Hahn.
The driver of the Accord was air lifted to the Medical Center of Aurora – South Campus. The condition of the driver was not known, Hahn said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
