Estes Park police arrested two 19-year-old men yesterday for allegedly causing a fire in an Estes Park home after robbing it.
Jacob Scott Belt and Blake Eric Bratrud, both 19 and residents of Estes Park, were booked into the Larimer County Jail last night, according to a news release from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
The two are accused of entering a home in the 600 block of Fish Creek Road on Nov. 19, stealing items, and then turning on a stove which later started a blaze in the home.
Both Belt and Bratrud each face charges of first-degree arson and second-degree burglary – both are felony charges. They also each face a charge of theft, a misdemeanor.
Both are being held on a $10,000 bond.
