Police found one person dead and another injured after a report of a suspicious vehicle in Westminster early this morning.
At 12:40 a.m. officers responded to the call in the 11000 block of Stewart Street, according to Cheri Spottke, spokeswoman for the Westminster Police Department.
After arriving, police found one person dead and another person injured. That person was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The nature of the injuries and the condition of the person taken to the hospital have not been released.
Investigators believe that both people are from the neighborhood, and police are not looking for any additional suspects, Spottke said.
“We believe that everybody we need to talk to we have or know their whereabouts,” Spottke said.
The investigation is ongoing and police are waiting for a warrant to search the vehicle.
