COLORADO SPRINGS — Two separate fights resulted in shootings that left three people hospitalized Sunday, according to Colorado Springs police.
Police say they were called to Sodo, a nightclub at 527 S. Tejon St., just before 2 a.m. Sunday, where they found a man with a gunshot wound.
The man was standing in an outdoor smoking area when he “became involved in a disturbance” with another person, according to an online police report. After a brief fight, one of the men drew a handgun and shot the other man. The injured man is expected to survive.
About two hours later, two men were admitted to Memorial Hospital after a shooting near the 2500 block of Weston Road, police said.
A bullet grazed the head of one of the men, while a second person suffered gunshot wounds to his arm and leg, according to Springs police Sgt. Roger Vargason. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
