FRASER, Colo.—Authorities have released the name of an 11-year-old boy who died following a collision on an intermediate ski trail at Winter Park.

Fraser-Winter Park Police Chief Glen Trainor identified the boy Sunday as Tyler Safarriyeh of Alpharetta, Ga. KUSA-TV previously reported the name of the boy, citing police.

Winter Park spokeswoman Mistalynn Lee says the boy died Friday following a collision with a ski instructor and a student on the White Rabbit trail. The boy was wearing a helmet.

She did not know what injuries were sustained by the ski instructor and the student. Their names were not released.
