A contentious battle over Colorado’s new congressional boundaries is on hold until next week as lawmakers are off today for Good Friday.
“I still hold out hope that we can get a map,” House Speaker Frank McNulty, R-Highlands Ranch, said at a news conference Thursday.
So does Rep. Dan Pabon, D-Denver: “I think we can do this.”
Pabon sits on the 10-member bipartisan legislative committee charged with redrawing congressional boundaries. The committee was unable to meet Thursday’s self-imposed deadline.
