COLORADO SPRINGS — A man firing a gun outside a central Colorado Springs home Friday morning was fatally wounded by a police officer after “threatening” the officer, police spokesman Sgt. Steve Noblitt told The Gazette.
The man, whose name has not been released, died en route to the hospital. The name of the uninjured officer also has not been released.
