Jose Lopez is on the long list of Rockies who have launched three-run homers in 2011. He’s also on their list of hitters who are struggling. His three-run shot at Pittsburgh on April 10 helped the Rockies to a 6-5 win. Since then, he’s 2-for-30 with one extra-base hit and has landed on the bench five times. He was 0-for-4 on Sunday as his average dropped to .161.

Down and out.

The Rockies were tied for third in the major leagues in stolen-base efficiency at .833 (15-for-18) before Jonathan Herrera was thrown out trying to steal to end the Rockies’ half of the fourth inning.
