Two suspects were arrested and one was taken to the hospital this morning after leading police on a chase through Adams County.
Shortly after 4 a.m. deputies started receiving reports about people breaking into vehicles at the Briarwood North Apartments at 7398 Dakin St, near Highway 36 and Pecos Street, Sgt. Terrance O’Neill, spokesman for the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived, they found three suspects in a white Honda Civic. The Civic took off on 80th Avenue and drove to Federal Boulevard.
From Federal Boulevard the car turned onto 120th Avenue before merging onto southbound Interstate 25. The Civic hit a barrier wall as it was exiting I-25 onto 48th Avenue.
Deputies were able to intervene and force the car to spin around before coming to a stop.
Two suspects were taken into custody and one was taken to a local hospital. The extent of the suspect’s injuries and his condition were not immediately known.
No shots were fired and no one was injured during the pursuit.
