A boy’s trip to an eastern Colorado Springs apartment complex early Thursday turned into an assault, police said.
The boy went to Memorial Hospital just before 1 a.m. He told police that he was hit on the head with a baseball bat and attacked by multiple people as he and a friend arrived at an apartment building in the 1400 block of Potter Drive.
The boy said he ran away and eventually made it to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Nothing was taken from the boy during the attack.
