Extreme diners and locals know Severance is home to Bruce’s Bar, and Bruce’s Bar is home to an unusual and famous entree, Rocky Mountain oysters. Both have drawn hungry visitors from across the country and around the world.
The bar sells 10 tons to 15 tons of the famous Rocky Mountain oysters a year, and sales remain strong.
In addition to the classic beef, Bruce’s has two other unusual items on the menu: turkey and buffalo oysters. The beef has maintained its dominance as a local favorite, but the new buffalo oysters have grown in popularity.
