Connor Anderson of Greeley dreamed up a parody of a popular song that acts as a love note to those who spend their Saturday nights playing Dungeons & Dragons.

He took the song “Like a G6” from Far East Movement, added his own video and lyrics, and posted “Roll a D6” on Vimeo and YouTube.

Anderson spent two weeks editing the footage for “Roll a D6” using three programs, including iMovie and Final Cut Pro, sometimes for an hour, sometimes until 3 a.m., and he recreated the track from scratch on GarageBand. He has his own channel on YouTube with Broken Record Films, his own company. He will attend the Santa Fe University of Art and Design this fall on a talent scholarship and plans to graduate, buy an abandoned warehouse and make movies.
