Wind turbine producer Vestas has received a new order for more turbines, and that means work for factories in Colorado.
Vestas said Wednesday that it received an order for 111 turbines from Enel Green Power North America Inc. for the Carney River project in Elk County, Kan.
Vestas factories in Colorado will help manufacture the blades, towers and other parts for the 1.8-megawatt turbines.
