Emergency Medical Services Corp. announced Friday that its stockholders have approved the previously announced merger with an affiliate of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC at a special meeting of the stockholders.
Approximately 93 percent of the votes cast approved of the proposal, which is expected to close Wednesday.
