Authorities say an Eagle resident suspected of being in the country illegally has been arrested on suspicion of selling cocaine.
Eagle County sheriff’s officials say 41-year-old Eloy Lopez-Rios was arrested Monday and faces a charge of felony possession and distribution of cocaine.
He was being held in the Eagle County jail with bond set at $50,000 bond. He also has an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainer.
It wasn’t immediately known if he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
