Several lanes of Interstate 70 were closed for more than three hours this morning after a large truck rolled on its side.
At 5:07 a.m. a large truck traveling eastbound on I-70 lost control and rolled over near Peoria Street, said Sonny Jackson, spokesman for the Denver Police Department.
What caused the truck to lose control and what it was carrying were not immediately known, Jackson said.
Two lanes of eastbound I-70 were closed, causing major delays for morning commuters.
Crews had all lanes of I-70 open by 8:40, the Colorado Department of Transportation reported.
No one was injured in the accident.
