An autopsy performed on a doctor who died while swimming during a weekend triathlon showed no clear-cut reason why the 42-year-old man passed away.
Stacy Clodfelder of the Weld County Coroner’s Office said the office was waiting on toxicology and other tests.
She said the tests could take up to six weeks.
Dr. Michael Wiggins of Fort Collins was found floating facedown Saturday in Windsor Lake, where he was competing in the Pelican Fest Triathlon.
