The 7th annual Denver International Wine Festival today announced a major expansion saying the festival will be held at The Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum in Denver.
The main hangar floor space offers more than 44,000 square feet of open space surrounded by an extensive collection of historical aircraft and aerospace exhibits.
The 2011 Denver International Wine Festival is presented by Key Bank, Theramdor & Bosch Major Appliances, Stella Artois, ZAP (Zinfandel Advocates & producers) and .
Wine Country Network, Inc. is the producer of the Denver festival.
The event will be held Nov. 2 through Nov. 5.
Among the main events will be a Grand Vinters Dinner; Taste of Elegance Chefs Food & Wine Pairing Competition; Grand Tasting of International Wine & Food showcasing more than 400 wines from 18 countries, and a VIP tour of three Front Range wineries.
The festival said it is partnering with The Foundation For Sight and Sound, a nonprofit organization and their Help America Hear Program that provides hearing aides to disadvantaged people with hearing disabilities.
Tickets are on sale. The festival is offering a 15 percent saving with a 3-day pass: $310.
