A woman was hit in the head with a baseball bat during a street fight in Colorado Springs early Sunday morning.
The victim was at SODO’s nightclub, 527 S. Tejon St., when she bumped into another woman, prompting a verbal and physical argument, police said.
The people involved were kicked out of the club.
As the victim was walking to her car with friends around 2 a.m., another group of women approached and accused the victim of harassing their sister, according to the police report.
A fight then broke out in the middle of the street, and the unnamed victim was hit in the head with a bat. The woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still investigating, and did not release names of any people involved.
