Don’t look now, but Troy Tulowitzki is starting to heat up. One day after driving in three runs at San Diego, Tulowitzki drove in a season-high four Thursday night. He’s hitting .367 with nine RBIs in June after a forgettable May in which he hit .209 with 14 RBIs.
Day off for Iannetta.
Chris Iannetta was hitting .316 with six home runs in 38 at-bats vs. lefties and was .294 career with a homer off Clayton Kershaw, but he wasn’t in the lineup. Manager Jim Tracy gave Iannetta a breather after a tough day behind the plate in San Diego. Jose Morales, whom the Rockies have talked to other clubs about in recent days, started in Iannetta’s place.
