FORT CARSON, Colo.—Fort Carson’s deputy commander is moving to a new job in Washington, D.C., as director of soldier fitness in the office of the deputy chief of staff.
The Army announced the assignment for Brig. Gen. James Pasquarette (pas-ker-ET’) on Monday.
Pasquarette is currently in Iraq, part of a Fort Carson unit overseeing U.S. operations in the northern part of the country.
