He was free to go, but he wouldn’t leave the jail. Dr. Diego Posada posted bond on Monday, but according to jail staffers, when he saw 9News’s cameras outside the jail, he did not want to leave.
The former Walmart eye doctor is facing a child pornography charge and child molestation allegations.
His attorney says he’s innocent of all the accusations. Monday morning, a judge reduced Posada’s bond from $500,000 to $50,000. Prosecutors objected to the move, saying Posada is a flight risk.
Posada, who was arrested in April after a flight to the U.S. from his native Colombia, waited 90 minutes at the Adams County Jail before a hasty exit without comment.
