Foo Fighters teased fans earlier this year with a series of semi-secret shows around the country, including an impromptu appearance at Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons in April (see for video) to promote their new album, “Wasting Light.” Now Dave Grohl and company are doing it up with a proper arena tour, which will stop by the Pepsi Center on Oct. 9, with Cage the Elephant. Diana Ross in Denver? Believe it. The original diva and legendary soul singer will play the Colorado Convention Center’s Wells Fargo Theatre on Sept. 20 as part of the 67-year-old’s extended “More Today Than Yesterday: The Greatest Hits Tour.” Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($65-$115, Ticketmaster)

Lindsey Buckingham’s sixth solo album, “The Seeds We Sow,” will be followed by a 31-city North American tour, including a Sept. 14 concert at Gates Concert Hall at the University of Denver. Tickets for the former Fleetwood Mac singer-songwriter’s show are not yet available, but check back here for on-sale dates and prices. Meanwhile, fellow Fleetwood alumna Stevie Nicks will play Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Aug. 9, with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. ($44.50-$125, Ticketmaster)

Brett Dennen, DeVotchKa, John Butler Trio, Brandi Carlile, Jeff Bridges and Trombone Shorty are among the headliners for the FMQB Triple A Conference at Boulder’s Fox Theatre Aug. 10-12. Tickets to the annual radio industry confab are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($35-$45, some shows free; )

The Avett Brothers added a July 8 Boulder Theater show to their Colorado swing this summer, which includes a sold-out July 9 set at Red Rocks. Tickets for the band’s Boulder show are on sale at 10 a.m. today. ($47.50, )

Snake Rattle Rattle Snake, the moody Denver dance-rock act led by Hayley Helmericks, will play the Bluebird Theater on Aug. 20. The band, which won last year’s Denver Post Underground Music Poll, is using the show to release its long-awaited full-length album. Tickets are on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday. ($9-$13, Ticketmaster)

Jimmy Pardo is one of several comedians, including Marc Maron, Adam Carolla and Paul F. Tompkins, who thrive on their podcasts. Now the L.A.-based stand-up is coming to Englewood’s Gothic Theatre on July 16 to record a live episode of “Never Not Funny.” Tickets are on sale. ($20, gothic )
