Scientists from North America and Europe are gathering in Snowmass Village this weekend to study Ice Age fossils recovered from a reservoir under construction.
The Denver Museum of Nature & Science says more than 3,250 fossils have been recovered from the site.
Researchers are expecting 37 scientific experts from 15 institutions in the United States, Canada, Spain and England to visit the site this weekend and study the discoveries.
