Colorado Springs police Officer Sydney Huffman was charged Wednesday with six counts of attempting to influence a public servant, a Class 4 felony, the Gazette reports.
Prosecutor Amy Fitch said more charges, including domestic violence, may be filed.
Huffman’s arrest stems from allegations that she lied when she claimed her ex-boyfriend and former Manitou Springs police Officer Jarrott Martinez attacked her June 9, 2010. Martinez was acquitted in February.
