Fort Collins police today released a sketch of man who is suspected of groping a woman.

The incident happened at about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the 2400 block of South College Avenue, according to a Fort Collins Police Department media release.

Police said the 30-year-old victim left a nearby pub to walk home when a man approached her and they started talking.

Behind a business, along railroad tracks, the man asked the woman to perform a sex act and she refused.

The man then “inappropriately touched” the woman before leaving the area on a dark-colored Schwinn woman’s mountain bike.

The woman met with police investigators on Thursday to complete a drawing of the suspect.

The suspect is described as a 19-year-old white man with blond hair and blue eyes, about 5-feet 9-inches tall and 175 pounds. The night of the assault he was wearing a black T-shirt, khaki shorts and was carrying a dark and tan backpack with snaps on the outside.

Anyone with information on the incident, or a possible suspect, is asked to call Det. Jaclyn Shaklee at 970 221-6575 or Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970 221-6868. Tips can also be left with Crime Stoppers on the Internet at .
