Three people were injured when two cars crashed head-on Saturday on State Highway 7 near Erie.
Fire rescue, police and state patrol officers found a total of four vehicles damaged, three extensively, officials said.
Two patients were taken by ambulance from the scene, and one was flown to a Denver hospital, according to Laura McConnell, a spokeswoman for Mountain View Fire Rescue.
