DENVER—Denver police are promising to change the way police are treated if they are stopped for driving while intoxicated.
Independent Monitor Richard Rosenthal says police may be getting special treatment when they are stopped by fellow officers, according to the Denver Post.
The department says it will require an officer who stops an intoxicated Denver police officer to call a supervisor to the scene.
