CenturyLink said today that it will invest at least $20 million to improve and expand broadband communications in New Mexico now that it has merged with Qwest.
Valerie Dodd, vice president and general manager for CenturyLink in New Mexico, said that with the Qwest merger, the combined company has the financial strength, national breadth and local depth to provide a wide array of broadband products and high bandwidth services in New Mexico.
CenturyLink’s Albuquerque office is currently studying the communities CenturyLink serves in New Mexico to determine where to implement expanded broadband infrastructure.
