An education isn’t just a means to an end. It’s the means to a full, rich life that opens endless possibilities.

“We are here to make education affordable, convenient and flexible for adult learners in the Denver metro area,” said director Andye Wolff-Yakubovich.

Located at 14241 E. Fourth Ave., Building 5 in Aurora, Columbia College-Aurora enables busy adults in the metro area earn college degrees at their own pace.

Columbia College is a nonprofit private, graduate and undergraduate institution founded in 1851 in Columbia, Mo., where teaching is the top priority. The student-teacher ratio is just 14 to 1 and classes never have more than 30 students.

Columbia College-Aurora is part of Columbia College’s network of more than 30 campuses nationwide and serves civilian and military learners in the area with five associate, six bachelor’s and an MBA degree on campus as well as more than 22 online degrees. Some of the more popular undergraduate degree programs are computer information science, criminal justice and business. The campus seeks to add a human services degree in the near future.

Columbia College keeps tuition costs low and gives out millions of dollars in scholarships, grants, loans and student employment.

Columbia College has continually been named among the best colleges in America by U.S. News & World Report for schools in its category in the Midwest region. The institution has also been recognized by the Princeton Review as a best Midwestern College, and its online programs are consistently named best buys by GetEducated.com.
