The leadership of Frontier Airlines and parent company Republic Airways is trying to arrange a meeting with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters to discuss the union’s concerns about a concessions agreement with the Frontier Airlines Pilots Association.
The Teamsters filed a lawsuit Wednesday in federal court in Denver alleging the agreement was illegal and interfered with a union-representation election.
“We’re trying to set it up now,” Frontier spokesman Peter Kowalchuk said Thursday. “We want to gain an understanding so that we can resolve this thing amicably.”
